Seasock DIY kit

This sea sock kit enables you, with the aid of a sewing machine, to make your own sea sock and be safe.

With the sea sock, you make sure the kayak is not flodded in case of capsize. It can easily be emptied, even easier than you can empty a kayak with bulkheads.

The sea sock also prevents sand and dirt from getting in your kayak, keeps you warm in cold days, and keeps you cold in warm days.

The sea sock made from this kit will be 99% watertight, which is more than good enough for practical safety.

The sea sock kit sizes are:

small: 110 cm leg length

medium: 120 cm. leg length

large: 130 cm. leg length

x-large: 140 cm. leg length

The kit consists of 500 g/m2 heavy duty impregnated cotton canvas. The sea sock pattern is drawn on the canvas, so it's easy for you to cut out and sew together. Also includes heavy duty 6 mm. bungee chord for the attatchment to your kayak rim, and a simple illustrated guide on how to do it.
