Update on opportunity in Indonesia

The company informs that EPGS Partners Aps, a Joint Venture between GomSpace and its French partner Ellipse Projects SAS, has now signed a commercial contract with the Indonesian “Ministry of Marine Affairs & Fisheries”, with a total contract value of 150 MEUR (approx. 1.6 BSEK). The contract is contingent upon a government-to-government financing agreement and until such time that a financing agreement is in place, the commercial contract is not valid, and it may never come into effect. The signed commercial contract will now allow the Indonesian Government to seek said government-to-government financing. (Pressmeddelande 2023-12-22)

ESA and GomSpace sign contract

Today, GomSpace’s subsidiary in Luxembourg and the European Space Agency (ESA) signed a development contract valued at EUR 1,500,000 for the continued development of GomSpace’s mission control system called HOOP by GomSpace Luxembourg SARL.

The development of the Hands-Off Operations Platform (HOOP) to enable autonomous satellite operations for single satellites and constellations was initiated in 2018 (https://gomspace.com/news/gomspace-luxembourg-receives-development-cont.aspx). GomSpace secures 23 MSEK in new product orders

GomSpace has since the end of October, received products orders of additional 23 MSEK, which includes the two products orders from Nanoracks (3.6 MSEK) announced on December 7, and In-Space (6.9 MSEK) announced on December 15.

The accumulated order amount is distributed on 21 customers from North America, Korea, Germany, Turkey, Argentina, France, Spain, Japan, and UK. (Pressmeddelande 23-12-19)

The Colombian Aerospace Force and GomSpace

The Colombian Aerospace Force (COLAF) and GomSpace has formally renewed their collaboration in support of the Colombian space program. At a value of 261.000 USD (2.8 MSEK), the first phase of enhancing Colombian space capabilities even further has been initiated. (Pressmeddelande 2023-11-22)

GomsSpace has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HEMERIA, a leading French Space player present at the heart of national Small Sat ecosystem that designs, builds and supplies cutting edge space systems, and CS Group, a company that designs, develops, deploys, maintains and operates critical systems for Aeronautics, Transports, Space and Defense. Through this MoU, GomSpace, HEMERIA and CS Group are voluntarily creating a partnership framework aiming at demonstrating the potential in joining forces to develop solutions building on expertise of each party.

GomSpace have suspended all work on a large customer project due to unpaid invoices. This will impact the outlook for 2022. Revenue outlook will be lowered to M.SEK 190 to 250 (previously M.SEK 264 to 292) and EBIT margin will be reduced to -90% to -70% (previously better than -15%). The outlook reflects both the direct effect of the suspension and the indirect consequences. (Pressmeddelande 2022-10-09)

GomSpace signs contract with Unseenlabs to deliver 6 more satellites

The contract value is 43 MSEK including the authorization to proceed valued at 12 MSEK that started this project (Disclosed on July 7th). Expected delivery of the satellites are second half of 2023.

The satellites will be based on the upgraded platform co-developed with Unseenlabs in an ongoing project and will be significant reinforcement of Unseenlabs fleet of low Earth orbiting satellites.
